New team member!
We’re proud to announce that Team39 has expanded again and would like to welcome on board Ros Donaldson as our new Business Development Manager. Ros is tasked with spreading the good word about 39steps and introducing lots of lovely new clients to us. Ros’s boundless positivity has us all enthused and she’s taught us that there are no such things as problems, only challenges! So if you’re in the area then drop by and say hallo to our newest Stepper.
39STEPS STEPS UP THE TEAM
39steps, the Edinburgh-based creative studio, has appointed Ros Donaldson as Business Development Manager.
Donaldson is most widely know for her hand in the very successful training and consultancy business, Tidalfire.
Commenting on the appointment, Julie Diver, Managing Director of 39steps said, “We’re delighted to have Ros join Team39. With her experience and enthusiasm, her role is key to helping us grow and take 39steps to the next level.”
Following a short career break and some time working on personal projects Ros is back within the creative industry through the appointment at 39steps.
Donaldson added, “Having watched Julie and her team grow the business to the success it is today I am delighted to be joining such an ambitious and highly motivated team as 39steps.”
Taking her post up in late May, Donaldson is responsible primarily for creating new business opportunities across Scotland.
Scottish SPCA Prize Draw mailer
I just got this through the post on Saturday. It’s a great feeling to find something you designed landing on your door mat! Just imagine people receiving this pack all across Scotland and marvelling at the clever use of colour and impressive design consistency. Hopefully once they’ve finished gazing at the general beauty and high quality of the design, they’ll get around to entering the prize draw.

Life’s a beech!
39steps have been laying down their Scottish roots by planting 10 trees in the fabulous Teaghlach Wood project. Part of a wider initiative called Trees4Scotland, Teaghlach Wood can be found near Comrie, in Perthshire. The project aims to restore Scotland’s landscape back to its traditional woodland state through the planting of traditional tree varieties such as oak, birch, ash, beech and rowan.
39steps are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment in which we live and work within. Small businesses collectively can have a significant impact on reducing environmental damage and 39steps are committed to helping to achieve this through continually improving their environmental performance.
Ship ahoy!
We’ve just finished working on whisky labels for The Royal Yacht Britannia. Continuing their existing branding we created an elegant label that utilised elements of gold foil-blocking. If you’re there for a day out order the 10 year old single malt or 8 year old blended and view them in all their glory.
