Volunteer Centre Edinburgh
We were approached by Paul Wilson, Depute Director at the Volunteer Centre Edinburgh, to handle all design requirements for themselves and have recently designed their Annual Report. Volunteer Centre Edinburgh aims to involve more people more effectively in volunteering to solve real problems and enrich communities. Consistency of brand message is important and that’s exactly what we’ve done for VCE to promote them and their services. Through a number of marketing materials and their recent Annual Report we’ve sought to put their message across in a clear and concise manner.
“After successfully helping us with a range of marketing leaflets I asked 39steps to help me in my panic of preparing our dreaded Annual Report, which of course I had left to the last minute. As always they were great. They immediately got what I needed, made helpful suggestions and came up with a concept for the design that was just right. They put up with my stupid time scale and my last minute changes. Having worked with a range of design companies over the years, the team at 39steps are a real breath of fresh air, willing to help and crucially for me, understanding the specific needs of a small voluntary organisation with grandiose ideas.”Paul Wilson, Depute Director, Volunteer Centre Edinburgh
39steps attract NGenTec
We’ve just finished working on an exciting branding project for NGenTec Limited, a spinout company from Institute for Energy Systems, in the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. Developed with funding from Scottish Enterprise under the Proof of Concept programme, NGenTec are developers of multi-MW direct drive permanent magnet generators and providers of specialist electro-mechanical engineering services for the power engineering sector. The key to the C-GEN technology is the elimination of undesirable magnetic forces, which brings with it benefits in ease of manufacture, ease of assembly, and a significant savings in cost and mass. We designed a corporate identity, stationery, events banner, posters and a website.
Scottish Hockey on target
39steps have completed branding for Scottish Hockey’s new ‘Stronger Game’ initiative. The programme aims to promote the game of hockey encouraging long term development within Scotland’s youth going forward onto professional level. We’re about to start on marketing/coaching materials and a folder aimed at coaches and PE teachers and will bring you more news when this is being rolled out.
39steps share a Kindred vision
39steps have recently rebranded SNIP (Special Needs Information Point). The new name for the organisation is Kindred and 39steps have designed a corporate identity as well as information posters. Kindred provides valuable advice and information on services available to children with additional support needs and their carers. The new identity is friendly and welcoming, with its rounded nature, and subtly makes a play on the word ‘Kind’ within the name. We look forward to working with Kindred and bringing you a glimpse of the work we’ve done soon.
