Julie Diver: Managing Director
Julie freelanced as a designer and illustrator before working at an Edinburgh-based ad agency and then moving on to a publishing house where she met Waseem. She co-founded 39steps and discovered a flair for business. Julie enjoys decent coffee, indecent films and shoes.

Waseem Ashraf: Creative Director
Waseem is a creative designer who has a passion for design and typography. Having worked as a designer in the big smoke he returned to Edinburgh to work for said publishing house before co-founding 39steps. Waseem has a thing for record stores and survives on chips / baked beans / fried eggs / 2ltr diet coke.

Lewis Bilsland: Designer
Lewis kicked off his design career working in the publishing industry, having worked for a couple of publishers he moved onto working as a freelance designer before working at an Edinburgh-based internet company. Lewis is an avid reader of Dr Seuss, enjoys easy DIY and designing t-shirts.

Steven Thomson: Designer
Steven started out his graphics career in publishing, then later headed up the creative team of an international training company after spells of working freelance. He has a flair for illustration, but sold out for a mortgage and a mountain bike. Steven is the worlds biggest car geek, and can be a tragically accurate statistical resource for those looking for car buying advice. Cruelly, he is too skint to own a car, but enjoys mountain biking and dreaming instead.
