New Start Scotland

ExhibitionWe recently exhibited at the New Start Scotland show at the SECC and had a great time meeting lots of people and hearing about the exciting ideas they had for their new businesses. Our team were on hand for a chat to see how we could be of benefit. Our stand went down a storm and as part of our Design Clinic we were writing out our design prescriptions to people recommending what we felt they needed to successfully start their new business. If you, or someone you know is starting up a business, then give us a call to talk through some ideas about how 39steps can make your new business venture look great and help make you money.

The 39 Steps

ExhibitionA bunch of us went to see The 39 Steps at the Kings and a jolly good show it was too, what! The laughs were relentless as were the pencil moustaches, and as for the wee ol’ Scottish couple! Never heard an accent quite like it...

The 4 actors must’ve been exhausted after playing 139 roles between them but they STILL managed afterwards to get to the bar quicker than us and the rest of the audience! Amazing...

Brindley car

Brindley CarOur client Brindley Associates asked us to come up with livery design for their nifty Suzuki Swift and we duly obliged. Unfortunately our suggestions for lowering the suspension, neon underlights and a massive spoiler were rejected.

Tips BookletTips booklet

We’ve put together a handy 39steps tips booklet on things to look out for when dealing with design and designers. Full of helpful design advice and tips it’s an essential read for people before beginning a design project... and naturally it looks great too! For your copy, drop us an email.

FSB InviteFSB Scotland invitation

As part of the recent Small Business Bonus scheme that was passed through the Scottish Parliament, our client, the Federation for Small Businesses Scotland, asked us to design an invite for a champagne reception at the Scotsman Hotel that would be attended by John Swinney MSP amongst others. The invite used flowing organic forms and thermography as part of the printing process, giving the finished material a raised surface in areas. Our client was extremely pleased with the outcome, as were we!
